Clay Brook Trail, Lyme
Join local trails enthusiasts and the members of the Lyme Conservation Commission to help complete a 2-mile trail that passes through a wonderful mix of pastures, forest, and riparian habitats. This 153-acre conserved property connects to other protected land and community trails, including potential future links across Breck Hill to the confluence of Clay Brook and the Connecticut River.
True's Ledges, Lebanon
UVLT is assisting Lebanon's Recreation Department with site enhancements at this City property next to True's Brook swimming hole. Volunteers are needed to help remove brush to provide for easier access.
Bear Pond, Canaan
UVLT is participating in the Mascoma Watershed Conservation Council's efforts to establish public trail signage for this environmentally diverse landscape. A 60-acre bog is one of the key features on this 932-acre conserved property.
Sanborn Road Trails, Thetford
UVLT is assisting the Sanborn Road Neighborhood Trails Group with a community trail project that will link four conserved properties, including a portion of Conant Swamp - a nature lover's paradise.
