About Russian Philosophy Forum

Welcome to Russian Philosophy Forum! We are an informal group of persons interested in Russian philosophy. Russians, Americans and West Europeans, our group includes both students and scholars. Our purpose is to expand transnational communication, education, research and publication in this field. You are invited to join us. We will provide access to a variety of ways of learning about and discussing Russian philosophy, past and present.

The Forum is being organized by several Russian, American and West European members of The Transnational Vladimir Solovyov Society, whose names and e-mail or fax addresses are listed below.

As this Forum develops, we will take advantage of the fact that we have Society founders and key representatives in Russia and Ukraine as well as England, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and the United States. Additional country representatives are expected to join these soon. At present we can correspond by e-mail or fax in English, French, German or Russian, though English will provide much faster replies and general communication.

The organization sponsoring both Russian Philosophy Forum and The Transnational Vladimir Solovyov Society is The Transnational Institute. The other Internet activity of the Transnational Institute is the new information service Russia on the Web.

The Transnational Vladimir Solovyov Society will co-sponsor its seventh international conference in Moscow August 26-30, 2000.  The primary Russian sponsor is The Institute Of Philosophy, where the conference will be held. For details, contact the Society by e-mail at address below.
