The license agreement specifies that you must purchase sufficient awning components from us  to build a minimum of 50 awning units a year. However, you are also free to substitute components from other sources if you are able to buy them more advantageously.

Our Profit Comes Solely From the Royalty - Which is Already Included in Your Purchase
In order to qualify for our low license prices, you agree to pay a royalty of $40 per unit (defined as each occurrence of a pair of arms), in addition to the cost of components you purchase from us.  (See Profit Structure for a costing example.)  We earn no profit on the sale of components to you - our return comes from the $40 royalty which is included with your purchase.  We know that the lower your cost, the more awnings you will be able to sell, so we are eager to help you reduce your costs in any way possible.

You Can Also Set Up Sub-Dealers Within Your Territory
Should you want to set-up sub-dealers in your region, our agreement provides for this opportunity as well.
