The Stone Mill building, part of the Shaker settlement in Enfield, NH dates from 1849. It was built after its predecessor burned down on the same site. It contained three stories of water powered machinery for a variety of trades.
There are more photographs of this building, and of the other Shaker buildings in Enfield, on the website of the Shaker Museum at
David Madison, Jim Tyson, Richard Henderson, Peter Stettenheim, Nancy Emslie, Bill Babineau, Susan Rump, Tom Vasil, Brett Bourne, Joan Monroe, Billie Jo Johnstone, and Stephanie Reed all knew that the building was part of the Shaker complex in Enfield, but no one specifically identified it as the Stone Mill Building. That's ok, close enough.
