eBay - Fraudulent Emails
eBay warning, November 2002 There is a fraudulent email making the rounds, purporting to be from eBay, asking members to confirm their name and password. THIS IS A SCAM. Do NOT follow directions to a website that you receive in an email, to confirm or change your ebay password, if you get one of these email messages. This is presumably an attempt to acquire eBay passwords, and, most likely, credit card numbers.
