Ampersands in your Address Book

Different email systems deal with ampersands (the "&" character) differently. We advise Internet users not to use them their email addresses because of these variations.

It is also important not to use an ampersand in an address book listing. We know that Blitzmail will not tolerate an ampersand in the "friendly name" of an address book listing (the one you type as a shortcut), and it is possible that other email programs will have problems dealing with this character in their address book listings as well.
