Sending lots of email notifications, announcements, or newletters to large groups of people? Most email services (including those offered by ValleyNet) do not allow the sending of large mailings, as they are not set up to handle that amount of outgoing traffic, or the incoming "bounce" messages notifying you about emails that could not be delivered. If you need to send out such mailings and are a community organization, you might look into setting up with a service like GroundSpring at http://www.groundspring.org. They offer several levels of bulk email services for community organizations. For businesses, Zinester at http://www.zinester.com, a commercial email service, may be suitable for your needs. Thesitewizard.com has a useful article about How to Start Your Own Newsletter or Ezine with tips about some of the options for sending out eZines and newsletters.
