Founded in October 1994, the primary purpose of ValleyNet is to provide and facilitate community-based information resources for the Upper Connecticut River Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. ValleyNet is a community resource for local residents and a tax exempt charitable organization.

As a non-profit, we provide valuable education and information about the Upper Valley. We sponsor an annual electronics recycling event, and host an events calendar open for non-profit organizations to post their events.

We are working on several projects to encourage and support efforts to bring universal broadband access to our community.

We offer email discussion lists to organizations and communities to facilitate that mode of communication among members of communities, organizations, and interest groups.
